Hi everyone,

It’s been a while, and I owe you an explanation. Many of you have reached out wondering where I’ve been, and I’m grateful for every comment and email. As always, I plan on responding to each and every one of them, but it may take me a bit. So thank you for being patient.

As most, if not all, of you know… back on September 18th I had surgery on my neck and back. The recovery has been WAAAAYYYY harder than I expected. I’m still dealing with a lot of pain, plus numbness in my hands that makes typing and sitting at the computer REALLY difficult. This post alone took me a few sittings.

On top of that, my best friend/roommate, Jason has been dealing with health problems of his own and has been out of work for over a month. So things around here have been extremely financially tight and stressful, and the blog had to take a back seat while we focus on getting through it. I know times are tough for everyone. Gas prices are high, food prices are high, rent/housing prices are high, I am beginning to think that the only thing that ISN’T high – is ME! lol!
