Hey everyone!

I cannot tell you how surprised BUT grateful for the comments and e-mails about yesterday’s post. I knew a LOT of you were probably feeling something similar, but for so long (at least when I grew up) you NEVER talked about politics, sex, or religion (not to mention sex with religious politicians… lol). Today I feel that we NEED to talk about politics (you are on your own with religion). If we do not talk about it and pretend everything is OK then we have already lost America.

ANYWAY, I said I was going to TRY not to make this site all about politics, so I will stop there for today. If anyone out there chooses to engage in further discussion, feel free to drop me an e-mail at boyohboi@gmail.com

Hey guys!

FIRST, I would like to wish my BEST FRIEND and roommate and basically a non-sexual partner in life, a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I hope the day is memorable – but in a good way. lol.

So, how is your weekend going? Doing anything fun?

Here are a couple of pictures of Bonnie with one of her favorite toys. This toy actually “moos” when you squeeze it. She has a couple of toys made by this toy company – that sadly does not make these toys anymore. “Mr. Moo Moo” and “Mr. Quackers”, the duck are her ALL TIME favorite toys. The one’s she has are old and yucky and are on the verge of not mooing or quacking any longer due to being well loved and also dying batteries. Jason wrote the toy company, and they said for “safety reasons” they are no longer making talking toys with batteries in them. Which, I kind of understand, but Bonnie is NOT a toy destroyer, and she LOVES, LOVES, LOVES these toys. If anyone has a “black market” seller, let me know… LOL.

ANYWAY, these pictures put a smile on my face and isn’t THAT what Sunday Funnies are about?!?

Well, it is Sunday again.

I know this is a “Funnies” post, but I just received word from a friend of the blog who has lost his home and all his precious memories in the unprecedented wildfires devastating Southern California.  Luckily, he and his family are safe.  Words cannot fully capture the depth of sorrow I feel for the immense loss and suffering caused by these wildfires. My deepest compassion goes out to all those affected.

I also know that tragedies happen every day all over the World, from the Middle East, to Ukraine, and the recent hurricanes that hit the Southeast part of the United States.  Every time I turn on the news there is something else that hurts my heart.  I literally can only watch the news for about 5 minutes.

Please consider helping someone in some way, even if it is just to make a phone call to say “Hello”.  If you are wanting to help, there are lots of wonderful charities out there.  Remember that your kindness can be contagious, and the World needs a LOT more kindness!

I kind of thought that a you guys could use the extra chuckles, so there are a LOT of funnies today!
