Be Back Soon! (I hope…)

Today is Thursday, September 17th, 2026. Exactly 17 years today I posted my FIRST Boyohboi blog post! Time sure does fly! I know for a fact, that there are at least a couple of you who have been visiting since day one! I REALLY appreciate it! In fact, whether you have been with me from the beginning or today is your first time here, I am SO happy that you are here!

Now, tomorrow, Friday September 18th is the date of my spine surgery. I apologize because I honestly had planned on posting more and even scheduling some posts to publish while I was away recovering… Time got away from me in addition to my hands and fingers not working too well. Hopefully, the pain and numbness I now have will be gone soon!

Rest assured, I WILL be back to blogging just as soon as I can! It MAY be a few weeks. I will be in the hospital for about 4 nights and then will be spending a couple of weeks in bed trying to heal as quickly as I can! The road to recovery is going to be a long one, with the doctor estimating that it may be a whole year before I truly feel like myself again. I KNOW I will find a way to be back to blogging WAY before that!

So stay tuned and send healing vibes my way!

Love you guys!
Jason ❤️💛💜🩵💚🖤🤎🤍

  1. I’ll be here for you and will do my best to make sure you are as comfortable as possible and heal fast. Bonnie and I love you and need you back on your feet as soon as possible.

    ♥️♥️♥️♥️

  2. One comfort is that it’s only 4 nights in hospital. So by the third day, when you’re getting desperate, you can think, “Only one more day… HOT tea… not lukewarm… tomorrow!…. HOT tea!”

And then it’s recovery time. Convalescence is a notoriously grumpy period, so you’d best just accept it and apologize to all and sundry. But then you start feeling better and it was all worth it.

    • I’m more of a coffee drinker and I went the ENTIRE time without any! Those poor nurses! I’m more than ready for the “feeling better” part though!
