Hey everyone!
I hope your weekend is off to a great start! Yesterday I had to take Bonnie to the vet. It looks like it might be an urinary tract infection. YAY! I had to pay $438.00 (that I did not have, but a friend was kind enough to put it on a credit card and I am going to pay her back). We won’t know the results until probably Monday or so.

Good luck with Bonnie. You have a good friend who did that with their card. Maybe at some point do a GoFundMe or some equivalent to get some cash to get pet insurance. Just a thought. An initial ask to absorb an even bigger cost latter.
Thanks a lot Sean! You are right, my friend really came through for us! She is a GREAT friend! As far as a GoFundMe, my online life (and life in general) is mostly composed of this site and you guys. I occasionally ask for donations for support with the cost of maintaining the site. In fact, I just did one on April 30th. You can see it HERE. Feel free to go to that post for instructions on making a donation if you are interested.
I try not to ask too often because I often get hate mail and/or nasty comments about asking for money. I have looked into pet insurance and because of Bonnie’s age and the fact that they usually will not cover anything that they consider a “pre-existing condition”, it is prohibitively expensive. It would come in handy though.
