100°?????? Where do you live, on Venus? If it was 100°, all of the water would boil away and life would be extinguished. The high’s I’m seeing for the US is centred around 30°, +/-2°.
Sorry Daniel… Here in the United States we are still using the Fahrenheit measurements. In the rest of the world it would be about 37 degrees C.
That’s America’s problem, but remember when you are on the internet you are not just speaking to Americans but to the whole world. It would be a nice gesture to the rest of the world to provide information in the units the vast majority use and comprehend.
I checked the long term forecasts for the Chicago area and all I’m seeing is a predicted peak at 35°C for Monday and Tuesday. The rest of the forecasts to the end of the month are varying from 28°C to 32°C. The high for Saturday was only 33°C. I didn’t encounter any 37°C predictions or actual readings. Your weather forecasters or presenters must love to exaggerate.
Why couldn’t you have just done the conversion yourself instead of leaving an essay of a comment about it. Just shut up and enjoy the pics.

Hey Daniel. Thanks for your suggestion. You are right, I should take the rest of the world into consideration. I guess since the MAJORITY of the people who visit my site are from the United States, I just took it for granted.
As for the weather, the high temperature here in the Chicago area yesterday was 95℉ which translates to 35℃. But the heat index, which is what the “feels like” temperature is, was 103℉ which is about 39℃. Maybe you are not looking at the correct weather forecasts. Either way, it was uncomfortably hot.
