Hey everyone!
I hope you are all doing GREAT! I am doing ok. No headaches today, which is a great thing! I did see the neurosurgeon on Monday. The appointment was originally scheduled 3 months ago when I was having wrist pain that the wrist specialist could not diagnose. But the wrist pain has gotten much better since I started increasing my vitamin B12 supplements. I kept the appointment because I thought he would be able to help with the headaches. Well, the short answer is NO. He said that I would need to see a NEUROLOGIST (not a neurosurgeon). He put in a referral for me to see one. The SOONEST I can get in is mid-August… So, I have to wait another 3 months. Hopefully, it will get better like my wrist did! I just wanted to keep you guys updated (those who have been following this saga anyway).
Anyway, here are the polls for this week!!!
In the first poll, I am torn between #4 and #11. I think I will choose #4 though.
So, Who Would YOU Do?
In the second poll, I am definitely going with Butt Boy 3.
So, Who Would YOU Do?
The medical profession in this country is as messed up as … well, as … I don’t know, is there anything as messed up as the medical profession in this country?
I thought it was only here (South Carolina) where we do not have doctors, we have a lot of physician’s assistants, RNs, LPNs (not that I know the difference), and the occasional witch doctor.
Jason, perhaps if you move to Canada, you can get an earlier appointment.
Best of luck,
Jimmy
We have lots of physicians assistants and nurse practitioners too. You can usually get in with one of them easily, but the always end up saying “I’m going to have to have you meet with the doctor”… had I just met with the doctor in the first place, I wouldn’t have to have just spent hundreds of dollars to be told I need to see the doctor! I already KNEW I needed to see the doctor, which is what I tried to do earlier.
And then people wonder why is healthcare sooo expensive! Ugh!!!
