Hey guys!

I’m still here… I am still typing with one finger, so things are moving slowly. Things with me are about the same. My surgery is scheduled for the 18th – so like a week. Thinking about it makes me so nauseous!!! 🤢🤮 I have to have a bone density scan tomorrow so the doctors have the info. Next week Tuesday I have to drive into Downtown Chicago to have a pre-op meeting with the surgeons. Then the surgery is Friday! I have some serious mixed feelings about this whole thing. I want to get it over so I can start the recovery process, but between you and me, I am actually scared out of my mind! It will be nice to have it done and over so I can stop visualizing EVERY possible outcome – even ones that I KNOW will not happen, but my mind is out of control…

Anyway, Thanks again to you guys for following my journey and all the supportive comments and e-mails!

Hey Guys!

I bet you probably weren’t expecting the polls this week. I was not sure I was going to be able to do it myself. The hand pain is excruciating! I can’t hold my phone for more than 5 minutes or type on my computer for more than 10 minutes. I have sent messages to my doctor begging for something that will help provide relief for the next month. I am waiting to hear back.

Anyway, before we get to the polls, I just have to say thank you to all of you who have e-mailed or left comments with words of encouragement and support and the 4 people who sent in donations to help with my outrageous medical bills. It has helped more than you know. So, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! ❤️❤️

And this may be an odd thing to include in this post, but Rest in Peace Dolly Parton! She was such a kind, caring and generous person, not to mention incredibly talented! I wish that I had the ability to exude HALF of her kindness! She will be an inspiration for many for many years to come!
