Is it as hot as Hell where you are too? It should NOT be nearly 90 degrees F (32 C) at this time of year. I thought it was time to put away the shorts and order the pumpkin spice lattes… But I guess not.

It is hot where I am at, but we have not experienced temperatures above 30°C since mid-August. Lately the daytime temperatures are in the low 20s, reaching only as high as 25°C on somedays, with nighttime temperatures in the low to mid teens.
However, for Sunday and Monday, the predicted highs are suppose to be around 28°C and Wednesday night the temps are supposed to drop to 6°C, which could bring on a frost in some areas. Moving towards the middle of the month, the daytime highs are predicted to be in the high teens and nighttime lows around 10-12°C.
The problem though is not the temperatures, but the lack of rain. Only next Tuesday is there a greater than 50 % probability of rain all day. For weeks we have had no rain and after Tuesday there is no predictions for rain.
Yeah we are in a severe drought here as well. It is good at keeping the mosquitoes down. But we should be getting close to getting frost this time of year at night but last night it was 18 degrees c. It’s like July’s weather.

I’m in the PacNW. We just came off a week of rain where I’m at. Now we’re having sunshine, temp averaging ~68 daytime, ~42 night. Makes me happy, since my last camping trip of the season starts Sunday. And the rains brought another gift: the burn ban has been lifted. There’s nothing more awesome than a real campfire!
I’m VERY jealous… for the weather alone but also being in the Pacific Northwest!!! I LOVE redwoods! Have a great camping trip!

Seeing that time is whizzing by at such a phenomenal rate, all holidays officially start 2 months early, with an additional month allowed for decorating. So, it’s never too early to decorate or offer a holiday wish.
