Self Portrait Saturday

Well, another week has come and gone. I hope you guys have a great weekend!

Oh, and not that I am counting… but SOMEONE (me) has a birthday coming up in 28 days! 😁🎂🎉

  1. I’m going to sound like a “boomer” (even though I’m Gen X) and I’m probably the only one that thinks this way, but I hate it when guys wear soaks and sandals/slippers. One, it just feels lazy because usually they wear pajama bottoms with them. I’ve seen plenty of people out in public at stores who think this is fashionable. Two, my grandparents wore socks and slippers in retirement homes/hospice, so it reminds me of senior citizens and hospital patients. Finally, it might seem “stylish” now, but trust me in 20 years you’ll look back and wonder what the hell you were doing. LOL! Kinda like looking at 80s high school pics and laughing at the clothing. Slapping a brand logo on the slipper doesn’t make it “cool.” When did we become such a lazy culture? Maybe that explains why a certain orange anus is POTUS. 💩😂

    • I agree with you! Socks with sandals and slippers are not attractive to me either. This may sound weird, but I love checking out a guys shoes – if they are nice shoes, it makes him a little more attractive to me. I can’t explain it and I have no idea why, but I am a shoe guy. The one shoe that I DON’T love is the penny loafer. Again, I don’t know why… I just don’t like it. LOL!

      • I love sneakers! High tops really make me swoon. Not sure why, but it probably has something to do with the 80s and seeing hot guys run around in short shorts, high tops, and cut off shirts. My biggest kryptonite though is a baseball hat, especially if there are tufts of hair coming out the sides. I faint every time. 🥵
