Self Portrait Saturday

Hey everyone!

So, for those of you who have been interested, I have had a busy few days. I had an EMG done, which everyone kept telling me was painful – but I barely felt anything. It indicated that my pain and numbness in my arms and hands is not just from the spinal cord compression, it appears I do have carpel tunnel syndrome in both arms. YAY! lol. Then I also had my first physical therapy appointment to address some of the pain in my neck and headaches and hopefully bring back some of the feeling in my hands. It went well, and just for the record, I HATE physical therapy, but the therapist is very nice, patient and as an added bonus, cute. 😁 I have to go 2 times a week and each visit costs me $40.00 – and that is WITH insurance. $80 every week for at least 5 weeks is going to be a REAL challenge. At the moment I have NO idea how I am going to pay for it. I know it is necessary if I expect any pain relief, but I just don’t have the spare money in my budget and I can’t seem to find anywhere to divert the money from. I paid the $40.00 today, which actually came out of my grocery money for next week. Oh well. I don’t mean to complain so much about the pain and now about the money, but you guys are good listeners! ❤️ 🤗

Anyway, here are the selfies for this week! Have a great weekend!

  1. I hate physical therapy too. Been through two knee injuries, a shoulder injury, and a hand injury. The therapist for my hand surgery was fucking HOT! I hated when my doctor told me I had recovered enough that I could stop therapy; I felt like slamming my hand in a door just so I could keep seeing the therapist!

True story, I hope it made you giggle a little.

    • Thanks for the story, Jimmy! I can totally understand! Many years ago when I lived in San Francisco, my friend got me a free massage for my birthday one year, and the massage therapist was UN-FUCKING AMAZING! I am a guy who likes thighs and his were so nice I remember them to this day! I went back a couple of times, just because he was so hot! You would think that in San Francisco, all massages come with a “Happy Ending” LOL, but I was not bold enough to take it that far.
